Hello! I am Heidie, the creator of mi mapa™

I am excited and happy that you have come this far. Like you, I am a Life Traveler and I will be your Companion & Guide in this journey.

I have spent over 30 years as an Executive Headhunter, Organizational Development Consultant and as an Executive Career Coach to thousands of Executives & Professionals in many Fortune 50 Companies in Puerto Rico, USA and LatinAmerica. However, during 2018 I was at a crossroad.

After resigning from a position of trust in the Government of Puerto Rico, as SubDirector for the Economic Development Workforce Program, I was not sure what I wanted to do with my life, much less with my professional career.

In the process, I felt the need to walk. I wanted to go far away. I took a backpack and traveled to Cambodia. For 40 days, I lived with a very humble and kind family in a village 45 minutes from Siem Reap. I was teaching orphaned children how to speak and write english.

The trip changed my life and Mi Mapa™ was born.

The birth of Mi Mapa™

As I walked through the red and dusty roads of Siemp Reap I observed nature, heard the words of silence and felt the presence of life. This led me to write in my journal

"You don't need to go far, you just need to go inside".

This reflection, along with many notes turned out to look like a map. I had not seen I had created my Life Map. What I uncovered was mesmerizing. This was the defining moment that led me to create this journey so you too can create you own Mi Mapa™ and receive the revelations it has for you.
